Natchez Transit System
Natchez Transit System (NTS) is a public non-profit organization that operates as a FTA Section 5311 transportation provider rural non-urbanized. The agency operates a fleet of 27 vehicles that includes 22 buses and 5 minivans. For uninterrupted service to the disabled population, 19 vehicles are fully accessible vehicles.
The agency operates from 4 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend hours are 5 a.m.until 4 p.m. with abbreviated hours on Sunday.
Serving as the only general public transportation provider in the county, NTS through coordinated and contracted services provides transportation for Southwest Mental Health - Life Skills, Mississippi Department of Medicaid, Natchez Convention Center, Natchez Chamber of Commerce, Catholic Charities and Natchez Housing Authority. It contracts with the Natchez Senior Citizens Multipurpose Center to provide the agency’s 5310 services to the elderly and disabled.

Natchez-Adams County Habitat for Humanity
The local Habitat for Humanity and builds new affordable homes for qualified applicants. Recently celebrated 25 years and have constructed 20 homes. Applications are accepted year round. Request an application through the Facebook page provided here.
Natchez Senior Citizens Center
Natchez Senior Citizens' Multipurpose Center provides many resources for seniors to share mutual interests, including adult daycare, adult education, arts and crafts, computer classes, health and fitness programs, nutritional services, home delivered meals, senior activities, senior transportation, swimming and volunteer programs. They also organize a Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
A public community swimming pool available to everyone - not just seniors - in the basement of the center. Inquire directly about membership and usage fees.
